Shehzad F. Roopani
Shehzad Roopani is a staff attorney at Grant & Eisenhofer, focusing on False Claims Act litigation and various other complex litigation. With respect to whistleblower representation, Mr. Roopani has been involved with a variety of cases from Medicare/Medicaid Fraud to Bank Fraud.
Previously, Mr. Roopani has worked as a summer associate in Brazil, Argentina, and Atlanta. During law school, he was involved with Emory’s Juvenile Defense Clinic, Barton Child Law and Policy Clinic, and the International Humanitarian Law Clinic. He is a native speaker of Urdu/Hindi and has a strong working knowledge of Spanish.
Mr. Roopani simultaneously attended Emory University School of Law and Goizueta School of Business, earning both his J.D. and M.B.A. in 2010. For his undergraduate coursework, he attended The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Communication Studies in 2005.
