Shehzad F. Roopani

Shehzad F. Roopani is an associate at Grant & Eisenhofer focusing on complex civil litigation involving federal securities laws, the False Claims Act, and corporate governance. Mr. Roopani has also represented whistleblowers in cases involving Medicare/Medicaid Fraud and Bank Fraud.

Prior to joining Grant & Eisenhofer, Mr. Roopani worked as a summer associate at law firms in Brazil, Argentina, and Atlanta. During law school, he was involved with Emory’s Juvenile Defense Clinic, Barton Child Law and Policy Clinic, and International Humanitarian Law Clinic. He is a native speaker of Urdu and Hindi and has a strong working knowledge of Spanish.

Mr. Roopani received his J.D. and M.B.A. from Emory University’s School of Law and Goizueta School of Business in 2010. He also received a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Communications Studies from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005.
